To promote and foster a modern and effective Congress by bringing together policy makers of all backgrounds and beliefs to engage in a robust exchange of ideas, opinions and philosophies.
Who We Are
The Effective Governing Coalition is a non-partisan, non-profit C(4) founded in 2024 by policy advocates and thought-leaders to promote a modern and more effective Congress. EGC believes an effective Congress is composed of Members who support and understand the importance of economic growth, environmental sustainability, health care accessibility, and a strong national defense. EGC recognizes these policy principles provide the roadmap to a more prosperous nation, expanded economic opportunity for all Americans, a tech and digital-information industry that thrives, and a welcoming and supportive business climate for emerging industries.
What We Do
The Effective Governing Coalition knows that a stronger and more efficient Congress is rooted in the free-flowing exchanges of ideas.
Through Roundtables, Staff Briefings and Policy Symposiums, EGC Sponsors and Members share ideas and discussion on current events and Congressional priorities.
In addition, events with Chiefs of Staff and Members will be hosted throughout the year to provide a more informal opportunity to exchange ideas and dialogue.
